Job Description :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team.
This role focuses on database testing within financial market compliance applications.
You will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, validating backend processes, and supporting automation efforts using Selenium and Java.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for database-driven applications.
Perform SQL-based validation and data integrity checks across large datasets.
Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and documentation.
Collaborate with developers, BAs, and other QA team members in an Agile environment.
Assist in maintaining and enhancing existing Selenium-based automation scripts.
Identify, document, and track defects; contribute to root cause analysis and resolution.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and financial regulations in QA processes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
1–2.5 years of hands-on experience in QA or Software Testing.
Strong understanding of SQL and experience with database testing (MSSQL, PostgreSQL etc.).
Practical knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and Java.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in testing financial services or compliance platforms.
Exposure to test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
