Job Description :

As an Apps Dev Programmer Analyst at Citi, you’ll join a dynamic team responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing cutting-edge application systems. This role involves analyzing business requirements, writing robust code, debugging, and providing ongoing support for global financial platforms. Job function: Apps Dev Programmer Analyst

Skills/experience:

  • Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in at least one key language like Java, Python, C#, or C++.
  • Database Knowledge: Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and SQL.
  • SDLC & Methodologies: Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex system issues.
  • Data Structures & Algorithms: Solid grasp of fundamental computer science concepts.
  • API/Web Services: Experience with designing and consuming RESTful APIs or SOAP web services.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and business stakeholders.
  • Financial Domain Knowledge (Preferred): Exposure to financial services or banking applications is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Application Development: Designing, coding, and debugging applications according to specifications.
