Job Description :

As an Associate Software Engineer at Eurofins, freshers will contribute to developing cutting-edge web applications crucial for global laboratory operations. This involves working with technologies like .NET Core, C#, Angular, and Web APIs, and engaging with databases (SQL Server, MongoDB) and Azure cloud services. Key responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and upholding code quality. A strong foundational knowledge in programming, an eagerness to learn, and an understanding of Agile methodologies are essential.

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science, Information Science, Electronics) or B.Sc (Computer Science, Information Technology) degree from the 2024 or 2025 batch, with 0-12 months of IT industry experience and a minimum of 60% aggregate in their highest qualification (no backlogs).

Skills/experience:

• Foundational Programming Knowledge: Strong understanding and ability to code in languages like C#.
• Web Application Development: Familiarity with .NET Core, C#, Angular, and Web API development.
• Database Systems: Knowledge of SQL Server, Cosmos DB, MongoDB, or similar relational/NoSQL databases.
• Cloud Fundamentals: Basic understanding of Azure services like App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and experience using repositories like Azure Repos.
• Development Tools: Experience with Visual Studio, Postman, and Swagger for API testing and documentation.
• Agile Methodologies: Understanding of Agile practices, particularly Scrum, and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong logical reasoning, troubleshooting, and the ability to address real-world challenges.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, international teams.

Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Design, code, test, and maintain robust, secure, and efficient software applications using technologies like .NET Core, C#, and Angular.
• Application Enhancement: Contribute to the development of new features and the improvement of existing functionalities within critical business applications, including LIMS and customer portals.
• Database Interaction: Write and optimize database queries and procedures for SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and MongoDB to support application functionality.
• API Development: Develop and consume RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between different systems and applications.
• Cloud Deployment: Assist in deploying and managing applications on Azure cloud services, utilizing tools like Azure App Services and Azure Functions.
• Code Quality & Review: Adhere to coding standards, participate in code reviews, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable code.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify, analyze, and resolve software defects and technical issues promptly and efficiently.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, and other developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Documentation & Learning: Create and maintain technical documentation and continuously learn new technologies and best practices to stay current with industry trends.

Education requirements:
