IndiGo Hiring Fresher For Data Engineer Position:
Roles and Responsibility :
- Analyze data and visualize/present it in the best possible way through charts, interactive reports, and dashboards.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines in an Azure environment & Snowflake.
- Design, build and maintain the tooling that the wider Data team uses to interact with our data platform, including CI/CD pipelines for Enterprise Data lake, unit/integration/validation testing frameworks for data pipelines, and command-line tools for ad-hoc data evaluation.
- Develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, and performance metrics (KPIs)that support key business objectives.
- Identify and implement best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and storage to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Optimize and tune data pipelines for improved performance, scalability, and reliability. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns.
- Monitor data pipelines and proactively address any issues or bottlenecks to ensure uninterrupted data flow. Build necessary mitigation / resiliency for identified risk, if any.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines, charts along with algorithms, parameters, models, and relations explanations ensuring knowledge sharing.
Education and Skills :
- A degree in IT / Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics or equivalent
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to work with people from diverse cultures and nationalities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of database management and design, including experience with platforms such as Data Bricks, Snowflake, Redshift, or equivalent
