Job Description :
Rupeek’s Infosec Intern role involves assisting in the development and enforcement of information security policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant standards. Key responsibilities include maintaining detailed records of security incidents, aiding in their remediation, and collaborating with engineering teams to track vulnerability status. Interns will also contribute to risk assessments, including vulnerability assessments and threat modeling, and help educate employees on cybersecurity awareness. Minimum Qualifications:
• B.Tech/BE or BE + MBA for their internships, ideally from the 2024 or 2025 graduating batches, with a strong interest in cybersecurity principles and practices.

Skills/experience:
- Foundational Cybersecurity Knowledge: Understanding of core cybersecurity principles, including threat analysis, incident response, and risk management.
- Networking Concepts: Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, etc.) and concepts like firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
- Operating Systems Proficiency: Familiarity with various operating systems, particularly Linux and Windows, and their command-line interfaces.
- Scripting/Programming: Basic scripting abilities (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and analysis, or knowledge of programming languages like Java or C++.
- Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (Basic): An interest in identifying security weaknesses and familiarity with relevant tools (e.g., Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit) or concepts.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Ability to analyze security data, maintain records of incidents, and assist in generating reports.
