Job Description :

Sportskeeda is seeking an SEO Intern to join their remote team. This role involves assisting the SEO team in implementing on-page strategies, optimizing website content, and conducting competitive research. Key responsibilities include tracking Google Trends for content ideas, analyzing U.S. sports news for opportunities, and performing daily/weekly data analysis using MS Excel and Google Sheets. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of websites and HTML, strong communication skills, and a keen interest in sports. Prior SEO tool experience (Ahrefs, Google Analytics) is a plus.

• A basic understanding of website functionality, familiarity with US sports (MLB, MMA/Boxing, Olympics, entertainment), excellent written and verbal English communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Responsibilities:

• On-page SEO Execution: Assist the SEO team in implementing on-page strategies, including optimizing website content (title tags, meta descriptions, headings, etc.).
• Competitive Research: Conduct thorough competitive analysis across various sports sections to identify SEO opportunities.
• Google Trends Analysis: Work with Google Trends to identify and share meaningful and relevant trends/topics with the content team for article creation.
• Data Sourcing & Cleaning: Assist with daily and weekly data analysis for different sports, including sourcing and cleaning raw data.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Perform top-level data analysis using MS Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, filters, VLOOKUP) and contribute to reporting insights.
