Job Description :
As a Trainee – Defined Benefit Tech, you will be part of Wipro’s proprietary Total Benefit Administration System team. Your core role will involve:
- Configuring and testing systems to meet client benefit requirements.
- Using in-house tools to set parameters, set up tables, and define system logic.
- Participating in end-to-end system testing, quality assurance, and defect resolution.
- Collaborating with teams to ensure high-quality, on-time project delivery.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
- SQL proficiency – ability to write and understand simple to complex queries
- Awareness of manual and system testing methodologies
- Familiarity with relational databases (table relationships, keys, DB2, etc.)
- Analytical thinking – break down problems and identify relationships
Communication & Soft Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Ability to take ownership and accountability
- Good comprehension of organizational objectives
Selection Process
- GATE Assessment (Logical Reasoning):
The first level of the selection process is an online logical reasoning assessment designed to evaluate the candidate’s problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities. - HR Interview (MS Teams Video Call):Candidates who clear the GATE assessment will be shortlisted for a virtual HR round conducted over Microsoft Teams. This round will assess communication skills, attitude, and cultural fit.
- Managerial Interview (Face-to-Face):The final round is a managerial interview conducted in person at the Gurgaon office. It will focus on technical understanding, problem-solving approach, and overall suitability for the role.
