Job Description :
For the Flex Recruitment 2026 drive, the IT team is looking for an Application Developer to take charge of ensuring the continuity of critical IT systems. You will provide the planning, technical business analysis, and project coordination necessary to architect, design, build, test, and implement robust software solutions.
This role encompasses a wide variety of enterprise applications and platforms, including BaaN, Flex Flow, RedPrairie, webMethods, MuleSoft, and .NET SQL. You will work closely with stakeholders, database administrators, and security teams to automate business processes, tune application performance, and resolve P1 critical incidents.
Roles and Responsibilities :
As an Application Developer at Flex, your key responsibilities will include:
- Software Development & Architecture: Convert designs into clean computer code, build UI components, and apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles to all solutions.
- Testing & QA: Create and run unit, integration, and system tests for automated execution. Conduct Solution Testing/QA prior to handover and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- System Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve business-critical P1 incidents. Debug code, find the root cause of errors, and revise programs accordingly.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders to evaluate technology vendors, work with DBAs to fine-tune database performance, and consult with the security team to fix application vulnerabilities.
- Documentation: Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation detailing program development, rationale, coding, testing changes, and operating procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Research new technologies, evaluate software/hardware platforms, and integrate innovative UI components into existing systems.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria :
To be eligible for the Flex Recruitment 2026, candidates must strictly meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech) or have equivalent systems experience.
- Experience Level: 1 to 3 years of proven systems and application development experience.
- Required Technical Competencies:

- Proficiency in working with Software Control Repository tools like TFS and Git.
