Job Description :

As a Data Center Technicians (DCT) Intern in Microsoft’s CO+I team at Pune, you will work at the heart of the world’s largest cloud infrastructure. This role is hands-on and physical in nature — you will be involved in deploying, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining the hardware and cabling that keeps Microsoft’s cloud services running 24/7. Eligibility Criteria :

• Infrastructure Deployment Support: Support the deployment of on-site data centre physical infrastructure including server racks, network equipment, and power systems as directed by senior data centre technicians.
• Hardware Installation and Troubleshooting: Install, replace, and troubleshoot cables and hardware components; handle data-bearing devices such as hard drives and solid-state drives following secure data handling protocols.
• Ticket-Based Work Management: Work within a structured, ticket-based environment to receive, prioritise, and resolve hardware and infrastructure requests in a timely and accurate manner.
• Equipment Handling: Move and relocate equipment safely using pallet jacks or other assisted lifting equipment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines for data centre operations.
• Inventory and Asset Management: Assist the Data Centre Inventory and Asset Management Team (DIAT) with shipping, receiving, and inventory management activities during periods of high work volume.
