Job Description :
As a Diploma Engineer Trainee at Tata Technologies Pune, you will undergo a structured training program designed to develop your engineering capabilities in a real production and product development environment. Eligibility Criteria :
- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication (ECE), Electrical & Electronics (EEE), Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), or closely related engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities :
- Engineering Support: Assist senior engineers and project leads in executing engineering tasks related to design, testing, quality, or manufacturing as per the assigned project domain and team requirements.
- Design & Drafting: Use engineering software tools such as CATIA, AutoCAD, or equivalent CAD/CAM tools to create, modify, and review 2D/3D drawings and engineering documentation as per project specifications.
- Quality Checks: Perform component inspections and quality validation checks following standard operating procedures to ensure engineering outputs meet client quality and dimensional tolerances.
- Production Coordination: Coordinate with manufacturing and assembly teams to support smooth production workflows, track progress against timelines, and report any process deviations to the team lead.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate engineering records, prepare daily work reports, and contribute to project documentation ensuring all data is up-to-date for audits and client reviews.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in Tata Technologies’ in-house training sessions and technical workshops to develop competency in engineering tools, industry standards, and domain knowledge relevant to the assigned practice area.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, testing, and supply chain functions to contribute to timely project delivery and quality outcomes.
