Job Description :

The DIH Intern – Data Engineering role sits within Lowe’s Data and Insight Hub (DIH), the central data engineering function responsible for translating business requirements into scalable data solutions. As a Data Engineering Intern, you will work closely with the BI Engineering and Platform Engineering teams to build and maintain data curation pipelines, support Hadoop cluster administration, and help design hybrid cloud-based data architectures. This is a fully on-site role at the Manyata Embassy Business Park campus, where you will collaborate with experienced data engineers and gain enterprise-level exposure to big data ecosystems, cloud platforms, and modern data engineering tooling.

Eligibility Criteria :

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related engineering discipline from a recognised institution
• Batch Year: 2024, 2025, or 2026 pass-outs
• Required Skills: SQL (strong proficiency), Data Engineering fundamentals, Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, NO-SQL, RDBMS)

Key Responsibilities :

• Data Pipeline Development: Build, maintain, and enhance data curation pipelines that ingest, transform, and load large volumes of structured and unstructured data across the Lowe’s data platform.
